The Dime Dime Baby meme is a short-video trend in which someone struts across a party dance floor, locks eyes with the camera and owns the moment, all set to the “dime, dime, baby” hook of KAROL G’s song “BbY WOW”. It started with a real party clip and is now mostly remade with AI, with people putting their own faces on the dancer.
Key takeaways
- The meme is named after the hook of “BbY WOW” by KAROL G, Judeline and rusowsky, released in August 2026.
- The best-known original clip shows a guest at a quinceañera dancing up to the camera, biting a concha and staring into the lens.
- That stare has its own name in Spanish TikTok: the mirada preñadora.
- “Bby Wow guy”, “baby wow trend” and “dime dime baby” all describe the same videos.
- Most new versions are AI remakes, like the dancing cowboy, made from a single photo.
What is the Dime Dime Baby trend?
On TikTok and Reels, “dime dime baby” has become shorthand for a specific kind of clip: a confident walk-in at a party, a loose groove close to the camera, a beat of eye contact that lasts a little too long, and a casual exit back into the crowd. The sound is almost always the chorus of “BbY WOW”, where the words “dime, dime, baby” land right as the dancer reaches the lens.
Because the hook is easier to remember than the song title, most people search the lyric instead of the track. That is why you will see the same videos tagged #dimedimebaby, #bbywow and #babywow.
Who is the Bby Wow guy?
The dancer in the most-shared original clip is widely identified on social media as Eve Ramírez, who posts as @eve.el.cholo. The video was filmed at a quinceañera, the big fifteenth-birthday party celebrated in Mexico and across Latin America. He dances up to the phone, bites into a concha (a Mexican sweet bread roll), chews while staring straight into the camera, and dances away as if nothing happened.
The clip first went viral in 2025, before BbY WOW existed. In 2026 people paired it with the new song, the timing matched perfectly, and it took off all over again.
What is the “mirada preñadora”?
Spanish-speaking TikTok calls that deadpan, slightly smoldering stare the mirada preñadora. It is the beat every remake tries to copy, and it is why a sharp, front-facing photo matters so much when you make an AI version: the eyes carry the joke.
Why did the meme go viral?
- The song was already huge. BbY WOW reached No. 1 on the Billboard Global 200 for several weeks, so the sound was everywhere.
- The format is simple. Walk in, groove, stare, leave. Anyone can recognise it in one second.
- It works with any face. A dad at a wedding, a coworker, a best friend or a pet all make it funnier.
- AI made it effortless. You no longer need to dance in public; one photo is enough.
What is the AI cowboy version?
One of the most shared remakes is fully AI-made: a mustached cowboy in a black hat, a black western shirt embroidered with roosters, a giant silver belt buckle and boots walks onto a party dance floor, dances and points at the camera. It looks like real wedding footage, but the clip carries an “AI-generated” label. It is the template our generator uses.
Is the Dime Dime Baby video real?
Both answers are true. The quinceañera clip is real footage of a real guest. The cowboy and most of the versions trending now are AI remakes. If you post one, label it as AI-generated where the platform asks you to.
How do you make your own Dime Dime Baby video?
Upload one photo to the Dime Dime Baby AI video generator, choose 480p or 720p HD and download the MP4 when it is ready. Then post it with the BbY WOW sound. The full walkthrough is in how to make a Dime Dime Baby video.
Which photo works best?
- One person per photo. With several faces the AI has to guess who should be the dancer.
- Face clear, front-facing and well lit. The stare into the camera is the whole joke, so your eyes need to be sharp. No sunglasses, masks or heavy shadows.
- Half-body or full-body. The AI keeps your build and proportions, so the strut looks natural instead of a floating head.
- No beauty filters or cartoon effects. They make the result look less like you.
- Your own photo, or one you have permission to use. Do not upload strangers, celebrities or minors.
Conclusion
The Dime Dime Baby meme is a real party moment turned into a global template by a chart-topping song. Learn what dime dime baby means, read about the BbY WOW song, or skip straight to making your own version.
