The Dime Dime Baby song is “BbY WOW” by KAROL G, Judeline and rusowsky. The trend is named after the chorus, where the singers repeat “dime, dime, baby”, so most people search the lyric rather than the title. Here is everything you need to know about the track.
Key takeaways
- Song title: “BbY WOW”. Artists: KAROL G, Judeline and rusowsky.
- Released August 7, 2026 on No Me Arrepiento de Sentir Tanto; sent to radio on September 5, 2026.
- Built on the Jamaican “Coolie Dance” riddim, which is why it feels made for dancing.
- Several weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Global 200, plus No. 1 on Hot Latin Songs.
- Not the same as Clarent’s “Dime Baby”, a different song.
Who sings the Dime Dime Baby song?
KAROL G is the Colombian reggaeton and Latin pop star behind hits that have dominated streaming for years. On BbY WOW she brings in two artists from Spain’s new wave: Judeline, a singer known for her airy, flamenco-tinged vocals, and rusowsky, a Madrid producer and artist with a playful, lo-fi style. Their voices trade lines over the beat, which gives the song its loose, conversational feel.

Why is it called “Dime Dime Baby”?
Because that is the part everyone remembers. The chorus repeats “dime, dime, baby”, Spanish for “tell me, tell me, baby”, and on TikTok that line lands exactly when the dancer reaches the camera. Searching “dime dime baby song” is simply how people ask “what is this song?”. For the translation, read what dime dime baby means.
How did BbY WOW become a hit?
It was not launched as a lead single. Fans picked it out of the album, dance videos and the Bby Wow guy meme pushed it across TikTok, and the charts followed. Billboard reported it spending several weeks at No. 1 on the Global 200 and Global Excl. U.S. charts, at one point retaking the top spot after losing it. It also reached No. 1 on Hot Latin Songs, entered the top 10 of the Hot 100, and became Judeline and rusowsky’s first No. 1 on Latin Airplay.
What is the Coolie Dance riddim?
A riddim is a reusable instrumental in Jamaican dancehall, and many artists record over the same one. “Coolie Dance” is an early-2000s riddim with a bouncy, instantly recognisable groove. Building BbY WOW on it gives the song a familiar, nostalgic swing that makes people move, one reason it fits short dance clips so well.
Which songs get confused with it?
- “Dime Baby” by Clarent: a separate single from May 2026. See Clarent vs BbY WOW.
- “Baby dime la verdad” and similar lines from other reggaeton songs show up in the same searches but are not the trend sound.
- “Put another dime in the jukebox, baby” is from the rock classic “I Love Rock ’n’ Roll” and has nothing to do with this trend.
